No paci = No nap :(

Since July of 2007, we have had at least one child in possession of this wonderful, lifesaving invention. Well the time has come for us to let the paci (aka "pap pap" or "pappy") go for good. We have straddled the fence on this issue with Brantlee for the last few months, and she only got it to sleep... when we were disciplined enough to enforce the rule. But the time has come (and her front teeth can prove it) for us to put the pappy away for good :( Now don't worry about B. She is making it just fine.  She is as happy as can be, and she is handling this change like a little princess. But don't think for one minute she is going to nap... not for a while anyway. She is soooo wired and keyed up right now. It is hilarious to watch her! She has nothing to wind her down now. She eventually just goes wide open until she passes out at night usually around 8:30. We are hopeful our napping routine will return soon, but until then we have come up with lots of other things to entertain us.

With 70 degree weather on Saturday, C & B jumped and jumped outside at Lolly and Poppy's house.

What is it about brothers and wanting to squash their sisters??!!

 See what I mean??

And if you aren't going to nap on a Sunday afternoon, you might as well get in a good pilates workout.

B was committed to these leg lifts- ha!

Collin refused any form of clothing for the entire afternoon Sunday while he played with his technology. This boy loves ANYTHING related to a computer.

Brantlee needed to make a few quick phone calls while Collin watched some cartoons before heading back to church Sunday night.

Up next, I MUST document our current, disfunctional sleeping arrangements, and our hilarious potty progress. Let me just say how funny it is having a boy AND a girl with similar potty interests ;) But that deserves its own post. Happy Monday!!

Bless YOUR hearts, not B's. Enduring the transition from papi to no papi is much, much worse on the parents. Hopefully she will figure it out, sooner rather than later, and get back to sleeping normally. I remember "wanting my child back." It turned Karsen into a different child because he wasn't getting any sleep-he was so volatile!

Yes, bless your heart! Amelia's sleep hasn't been the same since no paci either. It's pretty much impossible to get her to nap during the day without driving her around in the car. Ridiculous! Can't wait to hear the potty stories!

Sorry, I have no advice on the pacifier situation...Jackson took one for all of 5 minutes and then spit it out ;) Hope everything goes smoothly!! Can't wait to see the potty training pics :)

We just finally took Arden's paci a few weeks ago, she went a week without a nap! I think it was also due to an ear infection but either way she is finally napping again! 3+hours!! :) She will start again and then you can get some things done! :)
