More from March

As promised... some real photos from March. Quite a few of them actually.  At the first of the month, Collin was in the 1st grade program "How Does Your Garden Grow." He had the part of "weeds" which was hilarious. Particularly hilarious that Collin was one of the "bad guys" in the program. But he nailed it!!

We celebrated Kyle's birthday for several days. The celebrating began with Brantlee baking him a cake in her easy bake oven :) We got a little bit impatient waiting on it to get done, hence the hole in the middle.  It was delicious nonetheless ;) ;) We did eventually have him a larger cake that we could all enjoy a little later.

We also celebrated Mimi's 80th birthday!! We had lunch at Lolly and Poppy's one Sunday afternoon with the whole Sumrall clan. After Mimi blew out her candles, she announced that she wished for a dozen great grand children. There are 10 so far so somebody needs to get busy with that!  In all seriousness, our Mimi is THE Proverbs 31 woman, if one ever walked this earth.  We are so thankful for this lady and her example to us.

Spring Break + Trying to plan creative activities for my kids =  our entire garage covered in shaving cream
Next time I'll just stick with crayons.

One day during Spring Break, we went to the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center and had the best time!! Everyone had so much fun. Even us adults. And we let the kids play in the sand and a tiny bit of the water before we headed home.

The day was near perfect until we got stuck in traffic and our trip home took 3 hours.  We had a few mishaps in the car with 5 tired kids that were funny then and hilarious now :) :)

Finally Spring!

I have almost let a month slip by without a post. We had Spring Break a couple weeks ago and some of the these pictures are from that week. These pics are just from the iPhone but I've captured lots of memories on the real camera too this month.

With warmer temps comes sandals and flip flops. B and I had to get our toes ready! Just us gals, a very rare occasion.

I filled in and taught B's discipleship training class one Sunday night. These sweet kids loved using watercolors to paint Noah's Ark.

Sister had a play date one morning and me and the boys headed for Chuck E. Cheese.

We crashed the church playground after a meeting one morning and enjoyed throwing the rocks.

Kyle and I had a date for his belated birthday. A night without children resulted in a delicious dinner at Tabella and an ENTIRE hour in Lowes. Mind you, I wouldn't complain if it had been TJ Maxx.

K'Lynne and her boys came down from St. Louis for a few days of their Spring Break. We had a large time playing together at Mee Maws house and going to Space Tag.

Tate stayed with Ty and me one morning and these two entertained themselves with this train track. As in... I folded an entire load of clothes while they watched this train go round and round. Didn't know they could be that still!

Poor Collin had to have two fillings done last week. Both kids in one month with cavities. Proud momma moments I tell ya :/ He did great and handled it fine. The numb face totally threw him for a loop tho! He was so concerned it would be this way forever or mess up his upcoming spring portraits at school. Bless.

A man and his deodorant. Serious stuff.

So... The Cragers don't have the best luck with animals. Unfortunately Buster followed his nose and has been missing for weeks. Collin has been so sad!! That's ok though. Thanks to Craigslist we have a new 6 week old beagle puppy, named Jessie. And all is well now.

I hope to soon post some pictures of Collin's program at school, our quick trip to the Coast and Kyle's birthday.
