Life in the fast lane...

Well... it's been a while. I suppose I need to update the blog since I haven't done so since Christmas. And for good reason. I started back working full time in January. Say what??! We are all still adjusting to a new schedule but all in all it's going well. I get to work at B and C's school a lot of the time, and this has been a HUGE blessing in several ways. Ty gets to stay with pretty much everybody we know during the week, but he has adjusted well to that, and he pretty much runs the show every day ;)

But back to the fun stuff. After the holidays we tried to have as much fun as possible with our friends. Tate came for some overnight fun, and for New Years we had the Burchfields over for fireworks. Ty HATED the fireworks and the big kids could have shot them all night.

Brantlee is 100 days smarter in Kindergarten, and a poster wouldn't do. We had to go for the t-shirt. For the record, I did do the gluing on this shirt, but I made her count out the jewels. Teamwork.

And speaking of team, Collin has found another friend to share in his love for Ole Miss. Colby! These two are big buds these days. They also share a love obsession for wrestling. WWE and all its nonsense has taken over our home!!  And much to Dad's delight.

Meanwhile, Ty has become quite the artist. Between that and play doh this boy is entertained. For like 20 minutes. Which is pretty good for a 2 year old.

At some point in January, I turned 32. We celebrated with dinner at Tabella with our parents and then ice cream. No better way to spend a birthday than with my family.

Collin is still going strong with karate. He's doing really well with it. This is a whole new world with equipment and terminology that's foreign to us. But we are hoping he's found something he'll stick with. And Brantlee is still doing gymnastics and loving it! She might even move up another class soon.

But really, when it comes down to it, these kids just want to be outside playing.

Donuts with Dad for Kindergarten was this past month. She was so happy to have her daddy there! We also recently had a special dinner at home while the boys were hunting. B thinks this is the coolest, most fabulous  thing ever, ha!
Ty wasn't super impressed. He just popped in for a grape or two.

We have several Valentines birthdays we celebrate: Poppy-15th, Poppa and Kooper-14th. And of course Valentine's parties at school.

A 1980-something Wrestle Mania on VHS may have been viewed at Nana's that night ;)

I guess if anything sums up the last couple months, it's been this.

We are worn OUT by Friday. But life is so very good.
(Plus it's one more week til SPRING BREAK!!)
