Pumpkins!

(And lots of pictures.)
This weekend we played with our fair share of pumpkins.  On Saturday, we painted then carved some that we already had.  Sunday afternoon we went to Mitchell Farms to play and get MORE pumpkins!
These two loved painting the pumpkins even more than I imagined. They have since gone back and painted 2nd and 3rd coats.  They are just gorgeous! ;);)

After carving them, we thought they could use some arms, too.

At Mitchell Farms we ...

saw the animals,
played in the corn,
looked really, really cute,
enjoyed the bouncy things,
and the slides,

climbed on the tall piles of hay,

swung on the rope (over and over again),

rode the wagon,

enjoyed some family time,

got measured to see how tall we are,

became scarecrows for a minute,

posed for a fairly decent picture,

then posed for a hilarious picture! Poor Tate never wimpered, ha

And last but certainly not least, picked out our favorite pumpkin!!

Fun, fun, fun!

10 Things you might hear me say

I "stole" this idea from another blog, and I thought it would be fun to do. I am seriously a broken record most of the time.  On any given day, you will likely hear me say:

1. No more candy, you have had enough... ok, get one more piece, then that is it!
2. Brantlee, why did you take your shoes and socks off? (in the car, in a restaurant, at church, etc.)
3. WHO made this mess?!
4. Okay calm down, who had it first? (followed by)
5. Well both of you are just going to have to share. (followed by)
6.Okay, well Mommy will just have to take this toy and put it away since you can't share :(
7. I can't pick that up/help you with that/fix the DVD player because I am DRIVING!
8. Mommy can only do one thing at a time. I really am doing my best guys :/
9. Collin, do not touch your sister again. Don't even act like you might touch her. She's ill right now.
10. Come on, let's get in the car. We are in a hurry!

Note: For those of you with 3+ children who might be reading this, I know you just got a good laugh.  And maybe anyone else can laugh because you feel the same way some days!

A picnic, a workout & a cupcake

Here lately, we can't seem to get the kids to eat! It is crazy how they seem to run on almost nothing. I tried to have a picnic hoping that they would be excited about their meal. I think they ate pretty good. It was fun either way!

Not sure why this picture is turned like this. Collin posed like this for every picture I took.

B refused to let me tame her hair, so I didn't push the issue.

No day would be complete without a good workout. I find these things all over the house. They can't get enough of them.

Look at Collin's face in the background. ha!

Working so hard! This cracks me up!

Brantlee indulged in a leftover cupcake from her birthday... I think the cupcake won.

But if you know her at all, you  know that she looks like this EVERY time she eats :)

Our B is 3!

Brantlee is three today, and yesterday we celebrated with a fun princess party and enough sugar to kill us all over, ha! We had cupcakes, a crown cake, and "make your own" ice cream sundaes. It was a beautiful day, and our princess was thrilled about her party. She loved every minute of it. It was sweet, sweet day :)

Admiring some presents before the party.

Yummy cupcakes and princess drink.

Jumping with friends and family!

Waiting on her cake.

It was FINALLY her turn to blow out the candles!

It is so good to be 3!

Enjoying the day :)

Everyone enjoyed choosing their favorite topping for their ice cream!

Good times.

Time for presents! Good thing she has a helpful big brother to oversee the present opening :) :)
He was as excited as she was.

Busting open the castle pinata for even more sweets!

Before church this morning on her ACTUAL birthday.

Happy, happy birthday to our sweet princess. You fill our lives with so much joy and laughter!
We love you Brantlee Grace!!
