Merry Merry!

Christmas week started with church on Sunday. These three were all smiles. I told the kids and the hubs that a picture WOULD be happening in front of the tree, so be prepared. But Kyle wasn't fully dressed so we let him slide.

Christmas #1 at Lolly and Poppy's. This night is always the wildest because everyone is so excited.

Christmas #2- Christmas Eve morning. We opened gifts as a family. This was the Christmas Kyle and I lost our minds and got a four-wheeler. Yikes!! This was the only time they were allowed to ride without a helmet though.

Christmas #3- Christmas Eve at MeeMaw's house. There is really nothing like it. We have to take multiple combinations of pictures in front of the tree. Surprisingly no one cried and everyone cooperated. That's a first in YEARS! Mee Maw got everyone football suits complete with pads and helmets. It was serious! Plus we had a real cheerleader in the mix. With  real pom poms.

We were FIRED UP about Santa's arrival. Collin had caught wind  a little earlier that Santa was two hours from reaching the U.S. So there was no playing around with the bedtime routine. No convincing them to go to bed. These kids were in bed in record time!

Christmas morning! This is actually the first year the kids woke up first and came barreling into our room, so excited Santa came. Collin got a sweet Ole Miss wall decal and some wrestling toys. Brantlee got a marker board that she has literally talked about getting since about Thanksgiving. It is all she wanted this year :) Ty was excited about toys in general. But not anyone taking any pictures of him playing with them.

Christmas #4- Christmas morning breakfast at Mimi and Paw Paw's. It was the same as usual. Delicious food, children everywhere, and gift opening madness!

Christmas #5 - Nana and Poppa at our house. We ended our festivities with ribs and more gifts. It was low key and a nice ending to a busy Christmas.

2014 was a great year. We are so thankful for so many undeserved blessings. And we are ready to kick off a new year!

Holiday Happenings

In very random order, here is our holiday season in a nutshell! Here we are on Thanksgiving morning before heading to the Padgett's house for lots of food and fun with family. We played football outside, rode the golf cart, and B practiced her back bends. I should have taken more pictures!

MeeMaw gave the kids a happy. Collin was a little excited about his...

Lolly and I got crazy went COMPLETELY against our beliefs and shopped on Thanksgiving eve. All for boots for goodness sake!! Those prices got the best of us :/

That same weekend we attended a precious country wedding for Kyle's cousin Clint and his beautiful bride Katelyn.

Happy Birthday to our Fischer!! What a fun party, college style!

I got to go with Collin on his field trip to the NOLA zoo and aquarium. At first he didn't want to claim me, but he got over it. Eventually. That next day we went to Disney On Ice with Amanda and Colby who scored us a couple of free tickets. We had such a fun day!

Somebody likes a selfie. And it ain't me!

Collin's grade sang at the mall one morning and I got to slip away from work to snap this picture. These three look like potential trouble to me. Cute trouble, nonetheless.
This is our new puppy Copper! He just LOVES to be carried around and play school, doctor, baby, etc. with Sissy. Wouldn't you??

Polar Express and Pajama Day!
The next day it was Christmas Party Day for their classes. And the last day before the break.

At some point in December :-) we had our church preschool Birthday for Jesus. Collin had a similar party with the R.A.'s and then he got to ride in the parade. We just watched and caught candy on his behalf.

Can you spot Collin?? We couldn't either :/ We'll remember to ask which side he's sitting on next year.

The next weekend was our church Christmas musical for preschool and children. This was Ty's very first performance. And he nailed it!! I mean, he stood up there really still and jingled a bell. We were shocked. He's growing up!! Sister and Collin sang their hearts out though.
