Yesterday (Friday) we headed down to Biloxi with Kyle's parents for a little overnight trip and to run a 5K this morning. My parents drove down this morning and also ran in the race. Kyle and Dad made their best times ever!! Sandra and G.P. watched the kids while we ran, and we were so thankful for that! The weather was absolutely beautiful - a little windy for my taste, but overall it was perfect for early spring. These babies deserve some serious bragging here. They were such troopers for the whole thing! I think they mostly enjoyed some new scenery like the rest of us.

Before the race...
About 300 people participated.After the race we headed over to "Grillin on the Grounds" to eat and let the kids play. There was a live band, so guess who had to dance??!! Actually a camera man from one of the Coast news stations got Brantlee on camera busting a move. I have no idea if it will air, but he thought she was hilarious!
Then Brantlee found a booth with a gazillion balloons - her idea of heaven.

Well that wraps up our quick weekend trip. And I must say that we are beat!!! We will be ordering pizza tonight and laying on the couch for the remainder of the weekend. A nice start to Spring Break though.
