August Happenings

Whoopsie! Looks like September crept  up on me! Here is what has been happening in our world throughout the rest of August.

We celebrated Lolly's birthday a couple of weeks ago. We had cake and ice cream and swimming.

We gave her a photobook with pictures of all 4 grand babies from birth until now. 

I think she shed a tear or two. We are so thankful for our Lolly!

Here is Baby Tate at almost 4 months old. He is officially the best baby ever. Seriously, he rarely cries and will always flash you a sweet smile and giggle :) 

The month of August is loaded out with birthdays on the Sumrall side. We had a family cookout a couple of weeks ago. Here are ALL NINE great grandchildren. With the exception of Jaylen, they are all age 5 or under.

When Brother is at school, Brantlee gets her own schooling. I can't help it. It's the teacher in me ;)

Last weekend was my 10 year reunion!

Then we watched the Northeast/West game in the Jungle. It was packed out and hot, but fun. Too bad the Tigers couldn't pull out a win. But they represented well. I will always be proud to sit on that side of the field.

On Saturday, Aunt Pammie took Collin and Brantlee to see Laurel's production of Wizard of Oz. They were so excited, and I think they made it through almost the entire production. They spent the night at Mom & Dad's while we went to the reunion.

Brantlee screamed and threw a major temper tantrum to paint her own toe nails... you can even ask Nana who witnessed the scene... so I let her. (It was the little girl kind that practically wipes off anyway.) We were bent over laughing at how it turned out. She was so proud of her work! haha

Well, that sums up what we've been doing lately.
