VBS Week

This week our church has had the Big Apple Adventure VBS at night. We've had a wonderful turnout, and it has been a really fun week! Collin and Brantlee have loved it. They are so excited about their t-shirts and want to wear them all the time. (They've had to wear them twice this week.) They get home and want to sing all the songs, and they have been so keyed up and excited at night when we get home and do not want to go to bed.

This was before Day 1. (Alvin just had to be in the picture. whatever.)

Music is everyone's favorite I think!

Tonight B had a minor accident. She fell running outside with her class while they were blowing

bubbles :( She skinned up both knees and was completely devastated for the rest of the night. She passed out in my arms and slept for the last 45 minutes of VBS tonight. I put her in her car seat, drove home, put her in her bed... and she's still sleeping. That is one tired little girl!

After the first night, Collin said, "Mom, this VBS is kinda... wild and crazy." HA! But he has had a blast and has met some new friends.

Mom and I taught the 5 year old kindergarten class. We had anywhere from 9 to 11 kids. They were so sweet to teach, but we had to keep those hands and minds moving at ALL times :)

We made it to a few swim lessons this week also.

Now we are in frantic/excited packing mode for the beach. Can't wait!
