Catching up ...

These last couple of weeks have been filled with fun and thankfulness. Here is what we have been up to...

Brantlee Grace cut her own hair... AAAAHHHHHH!! We are THANKFUL that she only cut a little bit and that her hair is curly. You can barely tell she did it. But my heart stopped when I realized what she had done!!

"Sharp Arrow" (aka Collin) had a Thanksgiving feast with several other tribes (classes) at his school. It was so stinkin cute!

It was such an honor to be in the presence of such a handsome Indian :) :)

Last week was observation week for B's dance class. I finally got to get in there and get some pictures.

Getting her stretch on...
A cute little dance.

Brantlee nailed her back kicks ;)  We were so proud!

Excited about her stamps... that's what it's all about after all.

Before church Thanksgiving week.

She couldn't decide if she wanted to be the mommy or the baby when we played the other day, ha!

We found the cutest toy for Collin at our recent venture out to Hudson's. It is a dinosaur dig kit where you dig for actual dino bones ;) If you know Collin at all, you know that few things excite him more than something like this!

Last soccer game and more

Fall soccer ended a couple of weeks ago. Here are some pictures before the last game.
Warm-up time!
We had to pull B off the field crying when it was time for the game. She wants to play SO bad. Might be trading in the tutu for the soccer cleats ;)

Here we go! Pre-game speech

Kaden was the super star every game!

Just having fun!

Going for the ball...
Collin really, really enjoyed soccer this year... more so than we thought he would. He was actually disappointed it was the last game. Maybe we will sign up for spring season!

And let's not forget B's love of the concession stand!

Also a couple of weeks ago was the school's annual Harvest Festival.  Collin and his school friends sang several songs.

After that the kids jumped in the jumpy things for hours! These are the only pictures we have of the night. Kyle and I are on the committee in charge of this event... Needless to say, we were a little busy for the night. Thank goodness for grandparents! And thank goodness that is behind us :) :)

This past weekend we went to Calvin's Superhero birthday.

Spiderman and Rapunzel (yes, she is most certainly a superhero) had a great time!

Well... that's all for now.

The Fair

A couple of weeks ago was the annual fair, and these kiddos got to go twice. They went crazy riding the rides and didn't back down from anything... even that crazy high Ferris wheel (with adults, of course.) I am kicking myself for not doing better with pictures! All I have are these with my cell. I just couldn't handle the big camera, jackets, chasing kids, etc. Oh well, these will certainly do.

Ok, No one realized that they were posing as fairies! At least B would be happy about it, ha.

Posing in her pink whale

Fischer wasn't exactly "sold" on the rides :)

Loving it!

I really do not have a comment for this picture... other than the fact that I might frame it, ha!

On Thursday of that same week, we went to Jackson for Brantlee's 6 month appointment for her eyes. I really hoped that we wouldn't have to go back again, but we do in 6 months. Her eye sight still looks fine, but the doctor wants to continue to monitor her left eye that still deviates from time to time.

Anywho, the appointment was about as grueling as imagined. We waited 2 hours to see the doctor for less than 10 minutes, and Brantlee had to have her eyes dilated. It was as fun as it sounded :) :) But no complaining here!! We were very happy and felt very blessed for our report.

The lip gloss held her over for a little while, but the patience was wearing thin ;)

On our way home we had to swing in for some sunglasses and a happy. Cinderella and her Prince was a good choice!

Next up, I have to document Collin's last soccer game of the season... with real photos this time.

Jazz Half

Last weekend Mom, Dad, Kyle and I went down to NOLA for the men to do the half marathon. Us ladies did the 5K. Needless to say, I couldn't exactly take my camera and make some good pictures, so here are some we got with cell phones. We went down Friday night, had a good dinner, went right to bed, and woke up before sunrise on Saturday!

I don't think this picture captures how cold and windy it was that morning. Brrrr!

Sadly, I have no after photos :( On a positive note, Kyle finished in 1:54:17. Dad finished in 2:07:53. This was great!! They both beat their goals!

Cruising Canal Street after a huge post-race lunch and heading home. It was a very fun, quick trip. Must do it again!

Trick or Treat

We had a happy Halloween yesterday with Robin Hood and our Butterfly Princess Ballerina!

Our brave Robin Hood. I love that his chest is all poked out, ha.

Loving this pose, as well :)

We met up with the cutest Sock Monkey and Spiderman ever.

Excited and ready to cruise the streets for some candy!

Trick or Treat!!
The kids LOVED trick or treating.

Tate stayed with it all night even though no one offered him one, single piece of candy :)

Then we visited the Sandersville crew, Mee Maw, Paw Paw, Pammie, Mimi & Paw Paw - where we may or may not have scored more candy there than at all the houses combined ;) ;)

Happy Halloween!
