The Caribe '14

We wrapped up summer with a trip to The Caribe with Lolly, Poppy and the whole gang. This was our first time to try this place out and I must say that it did NOT disappoint! We had the best time! Of course, we usually do with this bunch. Never a dull moment. And this was the best place for our kids and their ages. We had so much fun hopping from pool to pool and then to the slides for a while. But we couldn't go the beach without actually going to the beach. We are beach people to the core. And the water was so pretty and clear. I think these pictures tell the rest of the story.

We did get brave and go out to dinner one night. We ate at the Crab Trap. 

And to our surprise our dear friends the Pierces were there the same time just a couple condos up!! We couldn't have planned that if we tried. Needless to say we had an even larger time than usual with more people to play with!

 

Brantlee had her 4th tooth pulled while poolside by her Lolly.  Because... why not?

Like a said, a large time was had by all. I think this was just before Ty dumped a red sno cone into the hot tub and turned it red for a bit. Oops!

One night we went to The Wharf and Lolly couldn't stand it and treated them to Build-A-Bear. I really think it was the highlight of the trip for them. And then we rode the Ferris wheel, which was NOT the highlight for this Mama or Aunt Casey. I think everyone else handled it fine though ;)

The Tooth Fairy left some cash and a little note for B.

This pretty much sums up Ty's idea of a vacation. 

One night we stayed with tradition and had our family pictures made.  This year we were "the yellow people" as dad says.

It was a beautiful week and beautiful time with our family. So thankful!
