5 Months

This has been a very big month for Ty- lots of changes going on in his little world. And he is growing up way too fast!

Here's what's going on with little brother at 5 months:

• He is sleeping in his crib without the Nap Nanny. The transition went a lot smoother than we thought it would go. He usually sleeps from about 8 pm til 6 am, occasionally waking up for a lost paci or if his diaper leaks.
• He has a TOOTH! One on the bottom. The other shouldn't be far behind. 
• He can roll over!! From his tummy to his back. Brantlee claims he rolled from his back to his tummy today. She says she didn't help him do it, but I didn't actually see it with my own eyes ;)
• Eating baby food is going much, much better. He's about to start getting it twice a day.
• He LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. His mood totally changes when he hears the song come on t.v. He lights up and smiles when Mickey is on the screen :) 
• He prefers to play on a blanket on the floor or under the playmat with his toys. The excersaucer is still ok, but he would REALLY like it if we held him and walked around with him all day. Of course!
• He is mesmerized with Collin and Brantlee. He smiles at them constantly and you can see the wheels turning in his mind when he watches them play. Precious. 
• I really don't want to rush his little life, but I do think he will be so much happier when he can sit up and play with toys. Not that he isn't a happy baby already, but I think he gets bored during the day maybe?? 

Trying to sit up. Still weeks away from really doing it tho. 

Maybe I shouldn't say that Ty gets "bored." He has PLENTY of entertainment these days, which is actually pretty helpful when we are trying to get out the door to go somewhere.
